Using a combination of traditional and modern techniques, we strive to honor the exceptional terroir of Château Fonplégade and allow the vineyard to fully express itself in the glass. To bring this vision to fruition, we have assembled a passionate winemaking team including world-renowned consulting winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt.

Our grapes are handled in the gentlest way possible. We ferment the wines using native yeasts, separating the vineyard's individual blocks into numerous small lots to preserve their distinctive character. To foster complexity, we employ a combination of new and 1-year-old French oak barrels, along with a half-dozen egg-shaped concrete tanks, which facilitate a pure expression of Château Fonplégade's terroir. This combination of ancient and contemporary methods helps us realize our collective vision to create refined, radiant wines that speak of this special site.
