The Château Fonplégade winemaking team is proud to work with the legendary Michel Rolland, a man who has helped shape some of the world's greatest wines.

A graduate of the esteemed Bordeaux Faculty of Oenology, Michel was born and raised in Pomerol, where he owns a laboratory utilized by more than 400 French wine estates. In addition to managing his own Bordeaux properties, he consults for some of the finest wineries on four continents, including Angélus, Ausone and Valandraud in Saint-Emilion, Pape Clément in Pessac-Léognan, Pontet-Canet in Pauillac, Ornellaia in Tuscany, and Harlan Estate, Bryant Family, Araujo, Ovid, Dalla Valle and Staglin Family Vineyards in the Napa Valley.
